If fiber-rich ingredients are retained or added during the noodle-making process, the fiber content will be significantly increased:
Whole wheat noodles: Made with whole wheat flour (with the bran intact), they contain approximately 2-3 times more fiber than regular noodles;
Mixed grain noodles (such as buckwheat noodles and oat noodles): Mixed grains are naturally high in fiber; for example, buckwheat noodles contain approximately 4-5 grams of fiber per 100 grams;
Vegetable noodles: Noodles with added vegetable juices such as spinach and carrots, which increase both fiber and vitamins;
Lemon noodles (such as chickpea noodles and mung bean noodles): Beans are naturally rich in fiber, and some fiber is retained after processing.
